The Hase Success Story

Hase Kaminofenbau evolved from a small craftsman's business into one of Germany's leading brand manufacturers of stoves, always standing true to our values – love of detail, first-rate quality, and protection of the environment. And still to this day, we hold each and every one of our stoves close to our heart.

1978

Architect Walter Blasius builds the first stove to use in his own home.

1979

Hase Kaminofenbau GmbH is founded.

1980

Hase is the first manufacturer to use ceramic cladding for its stoves and evolves into a specialist in this area.

1992

Hase builds its own ceramic factory.

1993

Hase Öfen AG is founded in Switzerland.

1997

Hase Öfen GmbH is established as an Austrian subsidiary.

1998

Hase builds the first low-energy house that can be heated with just one stove and 5 cubic metres of wood per year.

2000

Hase Pôeles Cheminées France is founded.

2003

Designer Fernando Najera joins the management staff.

2006

Hase sets up its own unit for producing thermal bricks, thus significantly improving the quality of the fire box fittings.

2009

Hase celebrates its 30th anniversary.
